Laetitia William
Director of Policy, Planning and AdvocacyLaetitia William (M.Sc.) is an Agricultural expert specialized in the areas of Agronomy and Applied Economics and Business, with practical experience in Project management, Public Policies, Agricultural Marketing, Training and Capacity Building, Community development and Leadership. Laetitia serves as the Director of Policy, Advocacy and Planning; where she oversee the Policy and Advocacy work within ACT, focusing on improving the Agribusiness Environment. These entail conducting reviews and impact analysis on various Government policy and regulatory frameworks, Public Private Dialogues (PPD) and representation of private agricultural sector players in different policy platforms, partnerships and networks.
Laetitia is also an appointed member in various Public-Private Sector Technical working groups National Coordination Committee for Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) and Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures (since 2013) and National Trade Facilitation Committee (since 2015), all coordinated by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry. Laetitia is an active member of the Tax Reform Task Force under the Ministry of Finance and Planning. She holds a M.Sc. in Applied Economics and Business (M.Sc. AEB) from Mzumbe University, and an M.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Dar es Salaam; and Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro.
