Susan has vast experience in the field of agriculture. She began her career as an Agricultural Field Officer in the Serengeti district, providing a range of agricultural advisory services in the district. From Serengeti, Susan moved to the Mwanza region where she worked in the Sengerema district and regional agricultural office as an Agricultural Extension Officer. Later on, she served in the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Crop Development as a Principal Agricultural Officer, responsible for Agricultural Inputs for more than 26 years. From 2008 to date, Susan has been working with the Agricultural Council of Tanzania (ACT) as a Field Operations Officer responsible for coordinating field activities such as Conservation Agriculture (CA), System of Rice intensification (SRI) to mention a few in the Tanzania Agricultural Partnership (TAP) programme. Susan holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Agriculture from Cornell University in the USA, a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in General Agriculture, and a Diploma in Crop Production from the University of Dar es Salaam, Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Science, Morogoro and Uyole Agricultural Training Institute, Mbeya respectively.
